About the Game
TerraFeud is a free hexagonal strategy game (91 hexes) in the browser, which I'm developing in my free time in Ukraine — inspired by chess, but with its own system of pieces and mechanics.
Two feudal houses fight for victory through one of three conditions: destroying the enemy Feudal, checkmating them, or capturing the enemy castle. The board is divided by a river with bridges and fords, and each of the 6 pieces has its own unique moveset and combat role:
- Feudal — castling, and "Order," which coordinates two infantry in a single move.
- Heavy Knight — moves in a straight line any distance, like a rook.
- Pikeman — a passive zone of control around itself, dangerous for weaker pieces.
- Light Cavalry — a 2+1 leap, jumping over anything in its path.
- Archer — shoots a threat marker at range, helpless in melee.
- Infantry — weak alone, but deadly when coordinated in pairs.
This browser version is a simplified implementation of a tabletop game still in development. It's completely free, with no ads and no registration — two modes: play against AI (3 difficulty levels) or online with a friend.
